• Dr Kuo-Ming Chao will deliver a talk on AI in Business Intelligent

Dr Kuo-Ming Chao is affiliated with Roehampton University. His areas of interest in research include artificial intelligence, digital twins, intelligent agents, service-oriented computing, and its applications to business intelligence, e-commerce, manufacturing, etc. Across books, journals, and conference proceedings, he has more than 200 publications.   
 

• Dr Charles Clarke will deliver a talk on AI in a Cyber Security Landscape: What SME Business Leaders Need to Know

 

Charles is an Associate Professor in Cyber Security and Deputy Head of Computing at the University of Roehampton. He has extensive experience of delivering creative, engaging, and innovative learning experiences at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Charles is also a co-founder of CSE Connect, a government funded national and international cyber security education network. As a cyber security education specialist, he speaks at both national and international events, serves as a panel assessor for National Cyber Security Centre (part of GCHQ) certified cybersecurity degrees, and works in an advisory role to the government, providing insights and guidance on cyber security education initiatives and strategies. 
 

The University of Roehampton are long standing Patron members of Wandsworth Chamber. Cyber Security at the University is a growing community of cross specialism collaborators, with a clear strategy and distinct ambitions. The cyber team is working towards becoming an Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Education (ACE-CSE). This is a government certified achievement and demonstrates recognition of an institutions regional influence and impact in making the UK the safest place to live and work online. 

Roehampton University offers an advanced postgraduate Data Science program that equips students with industry-relevant skills and a strong foundation in applied research. The program focuses on core areas like data analytics, machine learning, and data visualization, preparing students to address real-world challenges in big data and AI.
