Thursday 10th October 2024 marks World Mental Health Day and we are pleased to host this event with our Patron members from the NHS South West London and St George's Mental Health Trust at their newly developed hospital buildings at Springfield Village.
Join on Thursday 17th October at 8am where they will host breakfast in their conference center followed by an overview of the Trust. There will be a session on Mental Health in the workplace with top tips and takeaways for employees. They will be inviting everyone in attendance to sign up to a Mental Health First Aid Session (MHFA) session hosted by the Trust.
Full agenda for the morning is detailed below:
- 8am welcome breakfast in the Springfield University Hospital Conference Centre – Trinity Building with introductions
- An overview of the Trust: who they are, their journey and their place in the community
- A session on Mental Health in the workplace and top tips / takeaways for employers
- An overview of their community Mental Health First Aid training – and an invitation for every organisation to sign up to a MHFA session hosted by the Trust
- Community services / hubs available in South West London
- A tour of their Springfield Village site including new hospital buildings (broken into smaller groups) – finishing in Springfield Park
