The Alzheimers Association, New Mexico Chapter is a nonprofit that provides support, fundraising, and advocacy on behalf of the 43,000 New Mexicans with Alzheimer's disease and their 66,000 unpaid family caregivers. Our Chapter is a community-based, volunteer-driven 501(c) (3) nonprofit that maximizes collaboration with other public and private agencies; and relies primarily upon funding from private individuals, foundations, and corporations to meet the needs created by the growing Alzheimer's epidemic.
Our vision: a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia. Our mission: The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
The NM Chapter has been providing services and support to families affected by this disease since 1983.
