A mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center and a tax-exempt not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Founded in 1996 as a small, rural health clinic, it has grown to become the largest primary care organization in southeastern Arizona, serving over 35,000 patients annually. The organization operates fifteen fixed-site medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy clinics, along with five mobile-medical and mobile-dental units, serving patients across the 6200 square mile borderlands of Cochise County.

Services include adult health, pediatrics, behavioral health, dental care, nutritional care, pharmacy services, well-woman health-check programs, vaccination services, and chiropractic care. Additionally, Chiricahua is involved in community initiatives such as the Adolescent Champion Model, care coordination, community health work, domestic violence advocacy, and insurance assistance enrollment, reflecting a commitment to whole-person care and community well-being.
