The picturesque town of Green Mountain Falls is quiet and peaceful. Not too much has changed here since its founding in the 1890's. Located just 11 miles from Colorado Springs, Green Mountain Falls is close to activities and attractions, yet far enough away to be a refreshing retreat.
The Green Mountain Falls Lodge, over 100 years old, was originally built in 1910 and has just been luxuriously refurbished. Plenty of on-site parking exists for everyone in your party. The atmosphere created by the use of reclaimed wood and original design elements might initially give you the feeling of traveling back in time to visit that 1890's Rocky Mountain frontier town. However, once you experience your newly remodeled room, you will notice and appreciate the modern conveniences.
Hiking trails abound in the area, with many of the trailheads starting by the lodge. Other activities in the area include fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding, cross country skiing, and visiting the many attractions in the Pikes Peak region.
