For 69 years, the Oroville Concert Association has been proud to serve the local area, bringing quality, affordable entertainment to our community. Our mission is to offer every man, woman and child in this community the opportunity to experience the magic of affordable, live, quality performances by bringing audiences and professional artists together.
Each season we present a series of 5 live performances at the historic and beautiful State Theatre in downtown Oroville, as well as providing free matinees for the schools each year. Thousands of students have been delighted by the music, and educated in cultural arts through our free matinee programs. We invite all those interested to participate in bringing these programs to Oroville by your sponsorship, encouragement, and membership on the Concert Board. Yearly memberships include a ticket to each of the 5 shows and costs $75 (Adults) and $15 (Students). For those who miss the season membership, single tickets are available at the door on the night of the concert, at a cost of $30-$35. PAULINE YANG WON HER FIRST INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION AT THE AGE OF SEVEN. SHE HAS A MASTER'S DEGREE IN PIANO PERFORMANCE FROM USC AS WELL AS INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS FROM TUFTS UNIVERSITY'S FLETCHER SCHOOL OF LAW AND DIPLOMACY. PERFORMING WORKS BY BACH, SCARLATTI, MENDELSSOHN, CHOPIN AND RACHMANINOFF THIS IS TRULY AN EVENING OF GRACE, STYLE AND CLASSICAL MUSIC.
