Broken Bow Kennels
BROKEN BOW—Local dog and cat owners now have a place in town to board their pets. Lanay and Waylon Christen opened the Broken Bow Kennels in April after having purchased the former Tappen Valley School last summer. The new business celebrated a ribbon cutting with the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce on Monday. Senator Matt Williams was also in attendance. The renovated facility features various sizes of kennels for 27 dogs and also kennels for two cats. An outdoor fenced area and washroom were added as well.
Veterinary technician for seven years and has always loved animals. She graduated from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis. Dog and cat boarding, as well as pet daycare, is available at the Broken Bow Kennels and Lanay can also give baths and trim nails.
