Krampade LLC

Krampade LLC, based in Grand Forks, North Dakota, was founded as a result of a personal experiment by our founder, a medical school professor who suffered from debilitating cramping. As a former high school and small college athlete, he experienced frequent cramping and tetany in his hands and feet. Seeking relief, he began experimenting with consuming potassium chloride (KCl) at the age of 49. To his amazement, the leg pain and cramps disappeared, along with other symptoms such as heartburn and heart arrhythmia.

This discovery led to the creation of Krampade, a product designed to prevent cramps, slow fatigue, and enhance recovery for athletes and individuals from all walks of life. The company's original formulation has since evolved into Krampade 2.0, which includes magnesium and reduced sodium for improved taste and function. Additionally, Krampade Fiber was launched to combine the power of potassium with soluble fiber.

In early 2021, Krampade Recover was introduced to provide the recovery power of potassium formulation with whey hydrolysate protein. This was followed by the launch of Krampade Complete in late spring of 2022 - an adult nutrition product containing potassium, protein, and soluble fiber.
