As a community health center, NMHC reports healthcare quality measures annually to the federal Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Primary Healthcare. As an agency, we are recognized by various bodies that distinguish our quality improvement measures, state-of-the-art performance standards, and provision of patient-centered, coordinated care.
For the past three years, NMHC has been recognized by the Department of Health and Human Services as a Health Center Quality Leader and National Quality Leader.
As a Health Center Quality Leader, NMHC achieved the best overall clinical performance among over 1300 health centers in the nation. As a National Quality Leader, NMHC exceeded national quality benchmarks, including Healthy People 2020 goals, for chronic disease management, preventive care, and perinatal/prenatal care.
