At Catholic Charities we provide help and hope for those of all backgrounds and beliefs who may be struggling within our community. Catholic Charities is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation serving central and other areas of New Mexico with an array of human services programs designed to honor human dignity while putting faith in action to improve the lives of others. Services are focused on reducing poverty and improving opportunity including:
- Children's Learning Center: Bilingual Daycare & Pre-K Program
- Community Involvement Programs including Senior Transportation Services, offering free rides to errands & appointments and In-Kind Donation Center, where furniture and other donations help fill a new home for someone who had experienced homelessness.
- Affordable Housing: building and developing new or renovating existing housing complexes to provide affordable housing options.
- Housing & Self-Sufficiency: helping move people from homeless to home, and prevent homelessness with emergency relief programs.
- Adult Education & Career Pathways classes & training in ESL, High School Equivalency, CDL, Roofing & other career trainings.
- Refugee Support: embracing local refugees and assisting them with managing educational, cultural and social changes with various activities for children and their families.
- Low-Cost Immigration and Citizenship Legal Assistance to manage the immigration process for DACA renewals, green card and citizenship petitions, helping preserve family unity & increase opportunities for our neighbors.
