In 1980, Intel broke ground on a new manufacturing facility in Rio Rancho - home today to more than 1,800 New Mexicans developing and manufacturing technology that is the foundation to addressing some of the most pressing challenges of our time. In addition to high-volume manufacturing, Intel New Mexico is focused on developing technology including Intel Silicon Photonics, Intel Optane, and Intel NAND Flash Memory.
