Heritage Woods is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living Program and serves as a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home. The community especially benefits seniors who cannot afford private pay assisted living.

Our community combines residential apartment home living with the availability of personal assistance, support services and opportunities for residents to enjoy the companionship of friends and neighbors and to participate in social events and programs.

The two-story building houses 100 apartments, each with its own kitchenette, bathroom with shower, and emergency alert system. Studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans are available.

The building layout consists of four-corridors that meet in the middle, where a variety of community areas are available for residents and their families to enjoy. Elevators provide convenient access to and from the second floor.

The exterior of the building features two lovely porches on either side of the canopied-covered front entrance as well as a patio off the dining room.

Certified nurses assistants are on-duty around-the-clock to provide the personal assistance needed by residents. They work under the direction of the community’s licensed nursing staff.

Support services, including three daily meals, housekeeping and laundry, are included in a surprisingly affordable monthly fee.
