Our Story
The roots of Boulevard Home trace back to the pioneer settlement of Southern Utah in 1862. One descendant of those pioneers, Lester Wittwer, started a trucking business in 1928, delivering homegrown fruits and vegetables to outlying towns. His strong commitment to service and customer care naturally expanded into other ventures, including the family’s motel businesses.
As Lester’s children worked alongside him caring for travelers, they learned firsthand the importance of hospitality, hard work, and treating people right—lessons that would later define the Boulevard Home experience.
In 1974, Lester’s son Tony Wittwer formally founded Boulevard Home — then a small furniture showroom of only 8,000 square feet with two full-time employees. From those humble beginnings, the company has grown steadily while remaining true to its founding values.
Growth and Expansion
Today, Boulevard Home operates multiple large-scale retail locations, supported by a centralized Distribution Center and Clearance Outlet, and employs more than 250 team members across the region.
Our locations include:
- St. George, Utah – The flagship home furnishings store, featuring large multi-department showroom spaces.
- Santa Clara, Utah – Boulevard Home’s SleepBetter Mattress Store opened in July 2023.
- Cedar City, Utah – Opened in May 2014.
- Mesquite, Nevada – Originally opened in 2003 and relocated to a newly remodeled and expanded location in October 2021.
- Las Vegas, Nevada – Opened in July 2023, this 100,000-square-foot showroom represents Boulevard Home’s expansion into the Las Vegas market, bringing the brand’s service-driven approach to a major metropolitan area.
In addition, Boulevard Home operates a Clearance Outlet that provides exceptional values on discontinued, overstock, and clearance merchandise while supporting inventory and logistics across all locations.
