Founded in 1998 as a single community choir, the nonprofit Red Mountain Music Company (RMMC) has evolved into a dynamic, valley-wide musical performing arts organization. The mission of RMMC is to provide ALL interested singers in Southern Nevada the opportunity to practice and refine their craft with the best musicians and performers in the industry and to provide first-rate musical entertainment for those who reside in and visit Southern Nevada. To put it simply, RMMC is in the business of helping ordinary people make extraordinary music!
The Red Mountain Music Company is currently the proud parent organization of the following :
Red Mountain Choir, a 100-member non-auditioned choir comprised of singers from all over the Las Vegas Valley;
Red Mountain Youth Choir, a 35-member non-auditioned choir for youth ages 8-15, comprised of children from all over the Las Vegas Valley;
Red Mountain Music Theatre, a company that produces an annual summer season of first-rate musical theatre;
Red Mountain Second Saturday Concert Series a monthly cabaret-style concert series, featuring vocal soloists and musicians; and
Red Mountain Music Theatre Summer Camp, a summer camp for youth, where experts teach the fundamentals of voice, dance and acting.
