The Nevada State Railroad Museum in Boulder City offers excursion train rides on Saturdays and Sundays, February through December, begining 2/6/2016.
The Nevada State Railroad Museum in Boulder City offers excursion train rides along the historic Boulder Branch Line between Boulder City and Railroad Pass aboard refurbished Pullman Coaches dating back to 1911. During the 40-minute ride, you will hear the history behind the Boulder Branch Line and the railroad's role in the building of Hoover Dam.
Our excursion train rides depart the Boulder City Depot every Saturday and Sunday at 10 AM, 11:30 AM, 1 PM and 2:30 PM. Fares are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 4 through 11. There is no charge for children under the age of 4. We do not operate the trains in January.
We offer group rates of $7 per adult for groups of 12 or more adults.
In addition, reservations can be made for special runs for schools and groups of 25 or more on Thursdays and Fridays. The rates for school groups is $5 per person (one year of age and older). Non-school group rates on Thursdays and Fridays is $7/adult, $5/child (ages 1 through 11). There is a minimum $125 charge to cover fuel costs. Upon advance request, a dining car (or even the entire train) can be chartered for events such as birthday parties and wedding receptions.
