The Youth4Youth program builds success skills and habits by empowering youth to create solutions that make a difference in their school and community. We focus on creating positive change through proactive approaches which increases character and self-confidence and reduces bullying and the effects of bullying.
Youth4Youth develops a student driven team in each school by using a cross-section of students. These students help their school building become an environment of support, respect, and safety for all, regardless of intellect, physical barriers and limitations, race, religious, social, or economic issues. The development of Y4Y leadership and success skills, combined with responsibility and accountability, empowers each school team to create solutions and make a difference in their school building, community and beyond.
Each Youth4Youth team apply their success skill and leadership training by setting and achieving specific goals that help improve their school climate and creating a safe and positive educational environment for all.
Activities include: Youth4Youth Student Leadership Team training retreats, annual goal and theme development, The Classroom Challenge, school-wide awareness and activities, Youth4Youth Student Leadership Conferences, Y4Y Exchange Days, community involvement, newsletters and more.
