Bill graduated from Miami University in Oxford Ohio with a B. S. in Accounting.   He has been a practicing accountant for almost 40 years.  Bill has planned, reviewed, and supervised accounting staff on numerous audits and as the controller for a medium-sized manufacturing company.    In 1994, he started his own accounting firm in Woodland Park.  Over the last 20 years, he has:
 
Consulted with numerous small and medium-sized businesses, resulting in their achieving an increase in profitability and efficiency

Advised various clients in tax and investment matters, allowing them to retain a greater proportion of income for retirement

Met and negotiated with client's bankers and other advisors to obtain financing for business expansion

Prepared tens of thousands of tax returns

Did payrolls and payroll reports, keeping clients in compliance with state and federal regulations
 
Bill and his wife Mary moved to the Woodland Park area in 1980 and immediately became involved in the community.  He has done youth work in a local church, coached youngsters in a variety of sports, and was a member of the Woodland Park School Board.
