Mountainland Applied Technology College - Custom Fit Business Training
What is the function of the Custom Fit Training Program?
Utah State Custom Fit Training is a non-profit program using state funds to stimulate economic development, facilitate the creation of new jobs, and provide businesses with a trained workforce. This is accomplished by providing company-specific customized training to businesses and industries. Within the Mountainland Region (one of ten around the state), the Custom Fit program is administered by the Mountainland Applied Technology College (MATC).
How can it help my company?
This unique program offers you, your company, and your employees the benefit of state-of-the-art training and development, customized to meet your specific needs and does so at a cost that you can afford. How? The Utah State Legislature appropriates funds each year as an investment in Utahs economy through Custom Fit, which means your tax dollars are coming back to serve you! The Custom Fit program funds a large portion of the training costs.
Our Custom Fit staff is ready to meet with you to discuss your business: Whats working? Whats not? Where are your biggest frustrations? How can Custom Fit help?
You will be assigned a Custom Fit representative who will work with you to determine if Custom Fit is right for your business. Then, in consultation with your Custom Fit representative, we decide who the best service provider(s) will be to meet your needs. You will then determine where training will take place; whether at your site or at one of our MATC facilities.
Over the years, Custom Fit has worked with many types and sizes of businesses from mom and pop shops to the largest employers in the state. Whether you need specific technical training, safety certifications, computer skills, leadership/management skills, or help in how to get along with others at work, Custom Fit can provide training with industry experts to meet your needs.
