Child Start is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing early childhood development services that prepare young children for lifelong success in South-Central Kansas. We collaborate with child care providers to ensure quality care for children in our community and administer comprehensive Head Start programs. Our offerings include the Head Start 0-5 Program, assistance for parents to find suitable child care, and financial support for families. Additionally, we provide extensive training, support, and resources for child care providers, including guidance on how to get started in the field, all aimed at fostering high-quality early learning environments.
