For more than four decades, a nationwide movement has grown from a small circle of families gathered around a kitchen table in 1979 into the country’s leading grassroots voice for mental health. Today, NAMI stands as the nation’s largest organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. With more than 650 local affiliates and 49 state organizations, this network works in communities across the country to raise awareness, provide education, and expand access to vital mental health support.
NAMI Four County serves the communities of Defiance, Fulton, Henry, and Williams Counties with a strong commitment to raising mental health awareness and ensuring that individuals and families have access to meaningful support and education. Through outreach, programs, and advocacy, the organization works to reduce stigma, promote understanding, and empower those affected by mental illness. By challenging misconceptions and encouraging supportive policies, it continues to strengthen communities and help build a more compassionate and informed future for all.
