A 501(c)3 nonprofit project of Community Partners dedicated to advancing the future of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ) heritage and culture. The organization invites individuals to join its movement to help document LGBTQ people’s history and contributions to society, demystify the spectrum of human sexuality, and celebrate the essential benefits of diversity.
There is an urgent need to educate both young people and the general population about the positive impact LGBTQ people have on civilization, especially as homophobia persists and disenfranchised gay teens continue to face challenges. The organization pursues its mission through several key phases, including the Oral History Project, the future LA Studio, and the planned LGBTQ Heritage Museum and Cultural Center.
