The HdG Beacon is the community platform for Havre de Grace, and the surrounding areas in Maryland's upper Chesapeake region. The platform publishes original local journalism through The Beacon Wire, maintains the region's most comprehensive community event calendar, and provides free business profiles with built-in analytics to local businesses. Community guides covering fishing, dining, hiking, parks, and more are available free to residents and visitors.

Founded by Kelly Davis, a 2023 BEYA Engineer of the Year Award recipient and Senior Solutions Architect, and his wife Chrisabel Davis. The HdG Beacon has been recognized by the Maryland Department of Commerce and featured in Voyage Baltimore Magazine.
