The Ute Stampede Rodeo is a proud Utah tradition rooted in community, heritage, and world-class rodeo competition. Founded in 1934 and held annually in Nephi, Utah, the Ute Stampede has grown from a small local celebration into one of the state’s largest and most respected rodeo events. Sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and traditionally held the second week of July, the event brings together generations of fans to celebrate the spirit of the West during a meaningful time of year for the local agricultural community.
For more than nine decades, the Ute Stampede Rodeo has showcased top cowboys and cowgirls from across the nation, premier livestock, and unforgettable entertainment, including performances by the renowned Flying U Rodeo. The continued success of the Ute Stampede is made possible by the dedication of its volunteer committee, the support of sponsors, and the unwavering involvement of the East Juab County community. Today, the Ute Stampede remains committed to honoring its rich history while delivering an exceptional rodeo experience that celebrates tradition, excellence, and the enduring heart of rodeo culture.
