The Maxwell Park and Recreation District Auxiliary was created to support the District in providing exceptional recreational and park services to the residents of Colusa County. Established under the California Recreation and Park District Act with the adoption of Resolution No. 85-83 on July 30, 1985, the Auxiliary helps ensure that the district’s programs and facilities meet the evolving needs of the community.

The Auxiliary is dedicated to enhancing community engagement, promoting healthy lifestyles, and enriching recreational opportunities for all. Through its efforts, it strengthens the district’s mission to offer safe, accessible, and enjoyable parks and programs that improve the quality of life for residents within its boundaries.
