The Birth Collaborative is a training hub and movement space led by Jollina Walker, dedicated to reimagining how birth is supported across Nevada. Through comprehensive doula certification programs, we blend hands-on skill building with policy fluency and cultural humility, preparing doulas to serve not only as trusted birth professionals but also as informed advocates within the maternal health landscape.

Rooted in a birth justice framework and guided by reproductive justice values, our work centers communities that have been historically excluded from equitable care. We are committed to building sustainable systems of support that improve outcomes for families of color, low-income communities, and all those impacted by maternal health inequities, because we believe doulas are not a luxury but an essential part of thriving, just communities.
