Home

For over 70 years, the Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD) has been committed to delivering high-quality, reliable drinking water to one of the world’s most vibrant and fast-growing communities. Since its founding in 1954 as a not-for-profit agency, LVVWD has grown to serve more than 1.5 million residents across metropolitan Las Vegas, unincorporated Clark County, and surrounding communities, including Blue Diamond, Coyote Springs, Jean, Kyle Canyon, Laughlin, and Searchlight. Our state-of-the-art facilities ensure every drop of water is rigorously tested and treated, providing residents and businesses with safe, dependable water every day.

Adapting to decades of rapid growth and change, LVVWD remains at the forefront of innovative water management. From sustainable technologies like solar-powered operations to alternative-fueled fleets, we continually enhance efficiency and reduce costs while responsibly maintaining the region’s water delivery system. Governed by the Clark County Commissioners, who also oversee additional community water systems, the Water District is proud to combine operational excellence with forward-thinking strategies, ensuring that the Las Vegas Valley continues to thrive with a reliable water foundation for generations to come.
