Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada empowers girls to discover their strengths, build confidence, and create the world they want to live in. Supported by dedicated adult volunteers, mentors, and a global network of alums, Girl Scouts explore new challenges, develop leadership skills, and learn that they can achieve anything, regardless of background or ability. Through engaging activities and family involvement, we provide opportunities for girls to grow, lead, and make a meaningful impact in their communities.
Founded in Southern Nevada with the first troop established in Boulder City in 1932, our council proudly delivers the Girl Scout Leadership Experience-an innovative program rooted in fun, friendship, and adventure. Guided by the values of the Girl Scout Promise and Law, our approach is girl-led, hands-on, and built on cooperative learning, inspiring girls to be honest, help others, and work every day to make the world a better place.
