The League of Women Voters of South Central Texas is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization committed to empowering citizens to actively participate in government. We provide resources and programs that enhance public understanding of major policy issues and promote informed civic engagement, ensuring that every voice can contribute to the democratic process.

Membership in the League is open to individuals 16 years and older, of all gender identities. Building on over 100 years of experience, our local chapter continues the legacy of one of America’s oldest and most trusted civic nonprofits, influencing public policy through education, advocacy, and meaningful community involvement.
