The Grateful Dog Bakery was founded on a shared passion for animal welfare and nutrition by Karl and Jennifer Baker, whose journey together began through animal rescue. Inspired by their own beloved dogs golden retrievers Raine and Magic, and standard poodles Dash and Sylvia they set out to create a place where pets could enjoy wholesome, nourishing treats made with care. Their mission is simple yet heartfelt: to support the well-being of every pet through thoughtfully crafted, nutritious foods that contribute to long, joyful lives.
Alongside manager Travis Raymond, who, like Jennifer, has completed the Masters Class in Nutrition through the Science Dog, the team is committed to providing both quality products and trusted guidance. Whether helping customers choose the right diet or answering questions about pet nutrition, The Grateful Dog Bakery team approaches every interaction with knowledge, compassion, and the genuine love of animals that inspired the bakery’s beginning.
