At Rohan Woods School, we provide a unique environment where leadership and academics go hand in hand. With one classroom per grade and a close-knit, diverse community, every child is truly known and supported. Our students thrive through the PROJECT Approach to learning, a hands-on method that encourages them to engage, explore, and develop essential leadership skills such as confidence, cooperation, and communication. From Early Childhood through 6th grade, leadership is cultivated daily, preparing students to take initiative and make thoughtful choices.
Leadership development is central to the Rohan Woods experience. Our internally developed program guides students at every stage, embedding leadership traits into the culture of the school. Peer mentoring through our buddy system reinforces these skills, allowing younger students to learn from older peers while giving older students opportunities to lead by example under the guidance of caring adults.
In addition to fostering individual growth, Rohan Woods emphasizes community engagement and global citizenship. Students participate in philanthropic initiatives, with Sixth Grade students leading efforts through the Student Council to make a meaningful impact in the St. Louis metropolitan area. At Rohan Woods, students not only achieve academic success but also grow into capable, compassionate leaders who are empowered to make a difference.
