The Gunnison Valley Rural Transportation Authority (RTA) is dedicated to enhancing mobility and connectivity throughout Gunnison County. Our mission is to provide and continuously improve year-round air transportation to and from the Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport, establish a long-term, energy-efficient public transit system along the Highway 135 corridor, and offer reliable senior and human services transportation.

Through these initiatives, the RTA aims to support the region’s residents, visitors, and workforce with safe, sustainable, and accessible transportation solutions that strengthen the community and economy.
