Hibbing Public Utilities (HPU) is a community-owned utility dedicated to delivering reliable and efficient services to the residents and businesses of Hibbing, Minnesota. Our comprehensive suite of services includes electricity, natural gas, water, and steam, all managed from our cogenerating power plant located near the downtown business district. With a commitment to balancing cost and reliability, we utilize a combination of three fuels to ensure consistent energy provision for our customers.
