EXPERIENCE: Mariah (Yaya) has been a licensed esthetician since 2021 and has owned and operated Yaya Tada, a full-service spa in Cottleville, MO, since April 2024. She graduated from The Salon Professional Academy in St. Charles in January 2021. From there Mariah accepted a position at a local wax center. She received specialty training, which helped her develop a strong foundation in precision waxing while prioritizing client comfort and satisfaction. She then went on to spend three years at a spa in Weldon Spring, where she fully crafted her skills as a lash artist and expanded her knowledge in various other services. During this time, she also gained insight into the dedication required to be a successful business owner. With the support and blessing of her boss and mentor, Mariah found the courage to start her spa.

From the experience gained throughout her career, in conjunction with her passion for helping others, Mariah’s mission is to create a space where clients can relax, chat, and feel like more than just a number. Above all, she aims to foster a down-to-earth, judgment-free environment where everyone feels comfortable. For Mariah, Cottleville—her home and now the home of her business—was the perfect place to establish her spa and build a community where self-care is celebrated.
