NRP Jones

NRP Jones, based in Nephi, Utah, has a rich history dating back to 1947. Originally focused on manufacturing hydraulic hose and large-diameter industrial hose, the company has since expanded its product line to include high-pressure rotary drilling and vibrator hose for land and offshore drill rigs.

In the early years, NRP's primary focus was on producing privately branded hydraulic hoses, which led to high production volume but low name recognition in the market. However, with the acquisition of NRP by Jones Enterprise, Incorporated in 1991, significant resources were made available to build a successful organization.

Jones Enterprise, located in LaPorte, Indiana, is the sales and marketing arm of its parent company Screw Machine Products Company (SMP), founded by Keith Jones in 1945. SMP manufactures hydraulic fittings, adapters, and screw machine piece parts. With a history dating back to the early 1950s, SMP began producing two-piece crimp-type hydraulic fittings and has been marketing its line of fittings through its channels of distribution since the late 1970s.

The acquisition of NRP by the Jones family in 1985 allowed for further expansion and integration of complimentary products from both companies under the brand name NRP Jones. As a result of this partnership, NRP Jones has become the only family-owned manufacturer of hydraulic hose and fittings in North America.
