Fix It Frankie
HI, I’M FRANKIE.
I wish we were rich! We grew up a special kind of poor. My mom cleaned houses. Mom has always been such a hard worker. She always took such good care of me. I did have a happy childhood.
So when she volunteered me to help out our family and neighbors, it was the least I could do. As a kid, I loved taking things apart and putting them back together. I guess I’m pretty darn good at it now.
After I dropped out of high school, I had three choices: the military, prison, or the trades. I decided the trades had the least chance of ending up in a body bag. Mom agreed… enthusiastically, we’ll say.
So when my Uncle Mick went to throw away a 21-year-old air conditioner we practiced on at his shop, I asked if I could take it off his hands. Mom and I had no air conditioning in our home growing up.
That old air conditioner is still humming along today for mom, 32 years in.
It was my Uncle Mick who encouraged me to go out on my own. He says, “I have a knack for taking good care of people.”
Now I’m going to work hard to fix your air conditioner so I can finally buy Mom a new one. It’s the least I can do.
If you need to refresh, repair, or replace your air conditioner or heater, I’d be honored to fix it for you.
