Volver Health
Volver Health is dedicated to addressing the significant barriers that Hispanics and Latinx individuals in the United States face when seeking substance abuse treatment and recovery resources. With an estimated 30 million people affected, the lack of access to and engagement with these vital resources is simply unacceptable.
The obstacles are numerous, including limited resources, cultural and institutional factors, perceived treatment efficacy, language barriers, and logistical challenges. Additionally, stigma and a perceived lack of family support further hinder individuals from seeking the help they need.
When dealing with alcohol and substance use issues, many Hispanos may feel lost and unsure of where to turn for assistance. They may fear the consequences of seeking help or doubt that their problems will be understood. Furthermore, they may not believe that the available treatment options align with their worldview or values.
At Volver Health, we are committed to breaking down these barriers. We have developed technology solutions specifically designed to address this inequity head-on. Our goal is to harness the strengths and resources within our community to empower Hispanic and Latinx individuals to access the treatment they deserve in a manner that is relevant and culturally appropriate.
By leveraging technology and community resources, we aim to provide accessible and effective support for those struggling with substance abuse. At Volver Health, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to seek help without facing unnecessary obstacles. Together, we can work towards creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for all individuals seeking recovery from substance abuse.
