As Arizona’s early childhood state agency, First Things First is committed to the healthy development and learning of young children from birth to age 5. It funds services to help kids be successful once they enter kindergarten.
First Things First works throughout the state to bring awareness of the critical importance of early childhood investments, like child care. Ensuring babies, toddlers and preschoolers get a strong start in life and supporting working families is the key to our state's success. All Arizonans must understand that investing in quality child care is investing in our future. Our state’s economic development starts with early childhood development.
