Ernie C'deBaca

Ernie C’deBaca is the President and CEO of the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce (AHCC), a position he has held since June 2017. Before his current role, Ernie served as the Vice President of Conventions and Tourism for the chamber. He retired from PNM Resources in January 2016 after a distinguished 38-year career, the last 20 of which he spent as the Vice President of Governmental Affairs. A long-time board member of the AHCC, Ernie was the chamber's chair in 2006. Under his leadership, the AHCC has grown to become the largest chamber in New Mexico and one of the largest Hispanic Chambers in the United States. The chamber is dedicated to promoting economic development, enhancing economic opportunities, and providing business and workforce education with a focus on the Hispanic and small business communities in Albuquerque and New Mexico.

Ernie C’deBaca’s commitment to community service extends beyond his work with the AHCC. He currently serves on the board of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and has previously been involved with several other organizations, including the United Way, the National Hispanic Cultural Center, the Utilities Executives for Change at the University of Idaho, and the Bernalillo County/City of Albuquerque Unification Charter Commission. Married to his wife Geri for 43 years, Ernie is a proud father of two sons, Rob and Seth, a daughter-in-law Ali, and grandsons Grady and Quinn.
