Foundation for Women's Leadership & Empowerment
The Foundation for Women’s Leadership and Empowerment (FWLE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2019 with the mission to provide affordable education that empowers and develops women as equal partners with men across all levels of leadership. Recognizing that women leaders bring significant value to economies and societies, FWLE aims to accelerate gender equality and advance more women into leadership roles across various industries and professions. By bridging the prevalent gap in access to quality leadership education, FWLE aspires to motivate women to build their confidence and skills, enabling them to lead teams, organizations, communities, and societies effectively.
A cornerstone of FWLE's efforts is the Women's Leadership Conference (WLC), which has been educating women in leadership competencies since 2007. As FWLE's flagship event, WLC has already empowered thousands of women, and the organization plans to expand its impact by hosting conferences in locations beyond Las Vegas, alongside offering additional seminars, webinars, and programs that promote leadership skills. FWLE is dedicated to driving gender equality and inclusion by making these programs accessible to aspiring leaders, from early and mid-stage professionals to senior executives. Addressing critical challenges such as the "broken rung" and the additional hurdles faced by women and minorities of color in professional development, FWLE strives to eliminate gender gaps in education and career advancement, ultimately transforming the leadership landscape for the benefit of all.
