The Arc of New Mexico
Welcome to The Arc of New Mexico, a distinguished community-based organization dedicated to advocating for and serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, along with their families. At the forefront of our mission is the commitment to ensuring that these individuals and their families receive the necessary support to become active and valued members of their communities. With a presence in all five regions of the state, The Arc extends its services, including Guardianship, Special Needs Trusts, Representative Payee, Personal Plan Facilitation, Self-Advocacy and Leadership Development, and Coalition, Network, and Chapter Development.
Our engagement goes beyond direct service provision. The Arc of NM actively collaborates with the New Mexico Legislature, State Agencies, community leaders, providers, families, and other advocates to combat discrimination, fear, segregation, and abuse. Upholding the principles of freedom, choice, respect, and dignity, we stand united against adversity, working tirelessly to create an inclusive and supportive environment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission revolves around promoting and safeguarding the human rights of this community, ensuring their full inclusion and active participation in the broader community throughout their lifetimes. Visit us at 5130 Masthead St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, as we continue to champion the cause of a more inclusive and compassionate society.
