WSFL CH39
WSFL-TV, channel 39, is owned and operated by The E.W. Scripps Company and serves as the CW affiliate for the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area. Its broadcast signal reaches over 4 million television households across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties in South Florida.
Formerly known as SFLCW and CW South Florida, the station rebranded in May 2020 to emphasize its local focus, proudly incorporating South Florida into its call letters. The station’s website can be found at www.wsfltv.com.
The new WSFL-TV logo features the number 39 set against a bright yellow and orange sun, with bold black station call letters below, creating an image that is instantly recognizable as part of the South Florida landscape.
Since its inception in 1982, Channel 39 has offered a variety of entertainment, including daytime talk shows, network comedies, and six nights of CW network prime programming. The station was acquired from Tribune by The E.W. Scripps Company in September 2019.
