Tabitha’s Way Local Food Pantry
Tabitha’s Way Local Food Pantry operates two local food pantries in South and North Utah County, providing essential food assistance to individuals and families facing insecurity in our community. Understanding that unexpected tough times can affect anyone, regardless of socioeconomic status, we offer temporary support to ensure that no one goes hungry. Our mission extends beyond immediate relief, as we strive to empower individuals towards self-reliance while fostering a sense of community and neighborly assistance.
Inspired by the biblical story of Tabitha, our organization is named in honor of her compassionate service to those in need. Our vision is to establish "No Hunger Zones" throughout Utah County, where communities take proactive measures to address food insecurity for sustained periods. Through collaboration and community ownership, we believe in the possibility of creating a region where hunger is eradicated, and all individuals have access to the nourishment they need to thrive.
