Lake Washington Schools Foundation

The Lake Washington Schools Foundation was established in 2005 by a dedicated coalition of community members. United in their commitment to the success of students in the Lake Washington School District, they collaborated with parents, businesses, and community leaders from Redmond, Kirkland, and Sammamish. While the state provides funding for basic education, our district aspires to exceed these standards, and the Foundation plays a crucial role in supporting these ambitions.

Over the years, the Foundation has channeled millions of dollars towards district-wide initiatives aimed at equipping every student with the tools they need for academic and lifelong success.
