PetWellClinic
Dr. Sam Meisler had a groundbreaking idea to make preventive care easily accessible and affordable for dog and cat owners in Knoxville, TN – the PetWellClinic. This concept took shape in 2009, amidst the challenges of the Great Recession, and was influenced by a conversation with his wife, Julie, who pointed out an article about Walgreen's Take Care Clinics in the New York Times back in 2006. Her question, "Why couldn't we do that for veterinary care?" sparked the inception of PetWellClinic.
Right from its inception, PetWellClinic was designed with the client's needs in mind. Dr. Meisler was determined to create a veterinary service that prioritized customer choice and convenience. The clinic adopted an innovative approach to client flow, allowing pet owners to select their desired services by referring to an overhead pricing board. To streamline the process, clients would pay for the chosen services upfront at the counter, and the dedicated veterinary team would promptly deliver the requested care.
By focusing on customer-centric practices, PetWellClinic aimed to revolutionize the way preventive and other veterinary services were delivered. Dr. Meisler's vision was to empower pet owners, enhance their experience, and ultimately improve the well-being of their beloved animals in the Knoxville community.
