Theresa is an independently licensed therapist in the state of Arizona. She is passionate about mental health, valuing an integrated approach that incorporates mental & physical health, spiritual well-being, and healthy relationships. She has worked as a therapist at a residential addiction facility and has experience with trauma, anxiety, depression, body image issues, anger management, and domestic violence. She takes a light-hearted approach when connecting with teens and children.
Hope is powerful. Theresa feels it is an honor to work with clients and help them move beyond their current struggles. She grew up in difficult circumstances with parents who suffered from mental illness, co-morbid medical issues, and chemical dependency. As a young college student, she found hope in her Christian faith, which helped her build her life on a solid foundation.
She wholeheartedly believes your past is not your future.
Theresa and her husband Craig met in college, and they have been married for over 30 years. They are grateful for their grown family: one daughter, 2 sons, and 3 grandchildren (so far!). She is passionate about fitness and enjoys running, cycling, hiking, paddleboarding, and traveling. Theresa has been a Certified Personal Trainer and has maintained her certification since 2008; she loves to encourage others to pursue a healthy lifestyle.
