The overall objective of the District is to make available the highest quality water at the lowest possible cost.
The District was formed under the provisions of Division 11 of the Water Code of the State of California. Under the law, the District's primary function is to acquire, control, conserve, store and distribute water for the beneficial use of inhabitants and water users within the District.
The Mission of the Palmdale Water District (PWD) is to provide high-quality water to our current and future customers at a reasonable cost. To guide us in this mission, the PWD Board of Directors has developed a vision and an official set of core values.
