Dieterich Bank was chartered on November 15, 1909. Originally named The First National Bank of Dieterich, the bank showed dedication to its employees and community, and provided crucial financial service to local farmers, merchants, and the people of the Village of Dieterich. The bank continued to grow serving Dieterich, IL and eventually began its expansion to other communities in 1996.

Today, we serve 13 communities in Illinois - Waterloo, Columbia, Red Bud, Chester, Breese, Trenton, Edwardsville, St. Elmo, Lake Sara, Effingham, Teutopolis, Newton, and Dieterich - with 16 branches.

We pride ourselves on building lasting customer relationships, offering personalized solutions, and being a pillar in the communities we serve. As we grow, we remain true to our core values, ensuring every customer feels valued and every employee has the opportunity to make a difference.
