When we were preparing to open in 1974, we knew if we wanted to go beyond success and offer truly individualized care in the long run, patient care had to be one of our core values. However, what else does it take to make a sustainable caregiving model? Foundation for Senior Living (FSL) was founded with one goal in mind: to improve the quality of life for adults and their caregivers. In 1974, FSL was established by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix as a private non-profit, originally providing housing and social services to elders and individuals with disabilities without regard to race, religion, or social status.
Over the years, we have grown and created an integrated system of care that allows adults to age in place through our continuum of home and community-based health services.
