Beginnings
On July 15, 1986 Loren and Sue Cook purchased Blackwells Reminder Printing Company in downtown Kellogg, Idaho. They changed the name of the shop to Progressive Printing at that time.
A Family Business
After several years at that location, Lorens brother, Lyle, came to work for him. The brothers are second-generation printers. Their father owned Dressel Print Shop in Vallejo, California for 20 years, so they grew up in the business. A third brother owns a print shop in Kansas.
