Affinity Bio technicians start by performing a hazard assessment, as recommended by OSHA, to determine the level of risk posed to technicians and others present. All technicians wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and enter the scene. Universal precautions are taken, which means that all scenes are treated as hazardous or as containing potentially infectious materials requiring appropriate PPE and specific levels of disinfection.
An initial evaluation of work to be performed is conducted and a time estimate is provided to the client. Technicians will typically ask for residents to exit the property or find a safe area for them while cleanup takes place.
